swoonage of eh-panyol

*kills self for not 'tilding' the n*

So my spanish class RULES! Here's the shortest latin american story EVER written:

"El dinosaurio -by Augusto Monterroso
Cuando desperto, el dinosaurio todavia estaba alli."
translation: "When I woke up, the dinosaur was still there."

O_O *stares*...for some reason, I LOVE how a sentence that small could mean SO much!

*haha* *compliments self-nerdiness*
Here's some good advise for us women though:
"Cuando un hombre que esta vivo te hace llorar, hay que dejarlo. Solo se llora por los amantes muertos." -Clara Obligado
translation: "When a man who is alive makes you cry, you have to leave him. Cry only over dead lovers."

..that's some wicke' awesome advise. :D
*enough feminism* ;)

El cuento de Monterroso es en tercera persona:

"Cuando despertó" (él o ella).
