Oh my gosh - I LOVE INTERNAL MEDICINE...I've said that before huh? Well, I'm saying it again.

I just got home from call, and a couple of funny things from the last few hours that I can manage to remember are now stumbling out...

Nurse: "That vaginal culture...did you mean (female patient) is getting that lab ordered for her? B/c it's been ordered for this (male patient)."
My Resident AWESOME: "OHHHH YEAH - I suppose that would be impossible for him to do......"
Me: *on floor*


A page I sent to Resident AWESOME: "New admission - chocolate ice cream coming in for lack of consumption. Remove from freezer STAT."
